No one is acting like they are an offensive juggernaut so you are responding to a fictitious argument. As far as the 7 turnovers, do you think the Maryland players just handed them the ball?

What I've read...fans said the same thing when they dismantled Indiana and used defense and special teams to deflate ISU.

Perhaps they're just making their opponents look inferior?

I would love to see the Gophers defense and special teams half as good as Iowa's.

A start would be returning kickoffs and trying to establish field position, rather than a "three and out" after starting your drive at the 25.

A weird concept, Amirite?

Most people think Iowa's TOs are a result of luck. But they're actually a very sound D that is frustrating to play against. Teams get impatient and force things. And their back 7 is really good.

They're only giving up 4 yards per play for the season which is 5th among P5 teams so it's a lot more than lucky turnovers.

The team that beats them needs to run the ball and be okay with dinking and dunking in the passing game. Throwing deep against that secondary is asking for trouble.
