Under Fitzgerald, Northwestern has been the most under-rated team in the country for years.

Northwestern has Iowa's number, very frustrating and tough to handle for Hawks fans. Iowa has won 7 of 8 against Penn State and in many cases Penn State was the better football team. I think the Hawks still have a realistic shot at the Outback Bowl but it is disappointing to know the team started in the top 10 and now the best the Hawks can do is the Outback bowl. Congrats on the win over Illinois, at least the Gophers were not blanked in the Big10 for the 2nd time in 4 seasons.

Picking Nits here (get it?), but its 8 of 9 against Penn State. After losing another to NWU, we need all the positives we can muster.
