I saw this at the Hy Vee in Marshall. We need to win and push the Clark NIL invasion back south of the border.

The circus atmosphere is going to be a real challenge this year both for Iowa and Caitlin Clark as she chases Kelsey Plum's NCAA scoring record. For example, in faraway New Jersey, Rutgers has announced the Iowa WBB game is sold out, the only non-UCONN game (from Big East days) they have ever sold out. Even with a 3-game Thanksgiving tournament, Iowa is averaging 10,284 fans per game. Second in the BIG is 5,707.

There are likely to be some big bumps for Iowa/Clark. Not sure that any NCAA WBB player has ever faced the attention, crowds and scrutiny that Clark will face this year. Will be interesting to see how Clark handles the pressure. She has done a good job to date in the fish bowl, but far from perfect. And she is not playing with a roster of high school Americans to help her carry the load, which would be the case at UCONN, South Carolina, LSU etc.

Sure hope at least half the fans are gopher fans, otherwise I can see myself getting pretty irritated during the game unless we can lead from the tip!
