Ohio St's DC is 1.9 so this actually seems like market rate as far as a DC of one of the best defenses in the country... and for a few years now.
 


They also bumped the salary of Seth Wallace, their linebackers coach/assistant defensive coordinator, to $1mil. Also gave him the title assistant head coach, the first time that title has been used in the Ferentz era. Some have claimed on Iowa message boards that Wallace turned down the Gopher DC job/turned down the opportunity to interview for the Gopher DC job.

Why would the Gophers want a DC from a team that lost to an AK led offense? Pfff. Keep him.
 



MSU must’ve paid upwards of 1.5 mil for Rossi considering the buyout.
