Well, this news might put a smile on the faces of the Gopher faithful. It's looking like we might have the same old story at the QB position for the Hawkeyes. In their Sat scrimmage, they pretty much saw a terrible performance from McNamara and Sullivan wasn't much better, but from what I've read Sullivan (NU transfer) played most of his time against the 2nd & 3rd line defensive players. Iowa fans like to forget the fact that McNamara was a game mgr at Mich where he was given the keys to a Ferrari, but at Iowa it more like a late model Chevy Malibu (nothing against you Malibu fans). You add the fact that he basically sat his last yr at Mich and didn't play last yr at Iowa and who knows what you get to start the season. So, as a Gopher fan, I like the fact that we are getting them to kick off the B1G season in week 4. Thoughts?

On a side note, I had to chuckle at the first Iowa fan comment in the article chat.

The Hogeyes have been the dominant team in the West even with horse crap QB play. I wish I could say that about the Gophers.
