This is true, but they're all still skilled enough to play vital roles on a Sweet 16 team. This is heavily skewed because a majority of the Gophers are from Minnesota, but it's still impressive. If you remove our players, there are 5 other Minnesotans.
Build a core from MN/WI players and fill it in as needed.
Regardless of where they are playing their college ball, they played high school ball in Minnesota... there is no 'skewing.'This is heavily skewed because a majority of the Gophers are from Minnesota, but it's still impressive. If you remove our players, there are 5 Minnesotans on the other 15 teams.
... the eight players on our roster could be playing elsewhere and it would not change the data. What might be interesting to see is how many high school senior girls play bb in Florida and Texas... the data could then be normalized.Regardless of where they are playing their college ball, they played high school ball in Minnesota... there is no 'skewing.'
Stay one of us or you’re out of here! This is true, but they're all still skilled enough to play vital roles on a Sweet 16 team.

... many of our team completed against each other in high school. It is better to have your "enemy" inside your tent than outside.... the eight players on our roster could be playing elsewhere and it would not change the data. What the data does show, as many of you have pointed out, is that Minnesota is a hotbed of talent... seasons like this one, the HS players will be 'recruiting' Coach P.... financial factors aside.
...but in the Top 25 players in the Sweet Sixteen, there were four Minnesotans and just one Gopher. This is heavily skewed because a majority of the Gophers are from Minnesota, but it's still impressive. If you remove our players, there are 5 Minnesotans on the other 15 teams.
Skewed and still impressive, yes, but checking your math, 8 Minnesota players are Gophers and 7 are on the other 15 teams. This is heavily skewed because a majority of the Gophers are from Minnesota, but it's still impressive. If you remove our players, there are 5 Minnesotans on the other 15 teams.
I was just going off of the total from the map. Did they miss two Minnesotans in their count?Skewed and still impressive, yes, but checking your math, 8 Minnesota players are Gophers and 7 are on the other 15 teams.
Yes, they missed some.I was just going off of the total from the map. Did they miss two Minnesotans in their count?
