Input from GopherHolers: How would you tier the Big Ten

SS has it pretty well pegged.

Tier 1: Indy, Michigan, OSU
Tier 2: Michigan State and Minnesota
Tier 3: Illinois
Tier 4: Iowa, Wisky, Northwestern, Purdue
Tier 5: Nebraska and Penn State

I currently see Minnesota as the clear #4 in the conference. That said, Sparty seems to always play better at the end of the year vs beginning, so I expect MSU to be knocking on the door of the top 3 at year end.

I think this is pretty fair. I don't see MSU being a tier above us (don't we currently outrank them?). And Wisky is unranked and not coming back anytime soon.

illinois has looked tough in every game I've seen them in, with the quality of their guards they could be the dark horse.
