Yes, he was at least returning kicks after that.Perich appeared to pull something in his leg during his long punt return. I think he came back in after that. Am I correct?
That’s exactly what I thought when I saw it. If that’s the case, it’s really too bad. When Mav went down last year, the drop off at LB after him was stark.I thought Mav broke a collarbone but hard to tell. If 2 is down that hurts he’s good and Walley also out could be challenging.
He was the sole reason that Iowa ran over the Gophers in the third quarter last week as well. Repeatedly took bad angles. Is a huge bummer. I was so excited about him after his big pinstripe bowl performance.Health in the secondary is going to be important next week against USC. Hopefully Walley is back and Robinson is healthy. I also wonder if it isn't just a matter of time before Perich replaces Bryson in the safety rotation. Coleman is struggling and he missed some plays today that could have been huge, most importantly he was the guy who could have stopped the back on the 4th down play but failed to get it done.
He did seem to walk off the field normally. Usually a broken collarbone is pretty painful. So fingers crossed it's not that bad.I thought Mav broke a collarbone but hard to tell. If 2 is down that hurts he’s good and Walley also out could be challenging.
He’s tough. Maybe he can walk off a broken collar bone?He did seem to walk off the field normally. Usually a broken collarbone is pretty painful. So fingers crossed it's not that bad.
Coleman is the weak link. God bless his INT vs Syracuse in the bowl game, but he is not big enough or fast enough to play against tier 1 teams.Health in the secondary is going to be important next week against USC. It seemed like a dislocation for Mav with how quickly there was relief from pain. He’s tough. Maybe he can walk off a broken collar bone?
Kerry Brown should not come off the field. Can rotate Green, Gousby, and Perich.Coleman is the weak link. God bless his INT vs Syracuse in the bowl game, but he is not big enough or fast enough to play against tier 1 teams.
That crazy thing is that he was _flying_ in that game. Sitting behind home plate and he looked like the fastest player on the field. You could see that pick coming before it happened. Haven't seen him play in-person much since, but I wonder if the issue isn't speed.Coleman is the weak link. Yeah, when healthy we have a really solid secondary but there are some definite injury concerns in that unit right now and this upcoming game with USC is definitely one where we need the secondary to be as close to 100% as possible.Nobody will find out about any injuries until 2 hours before kick, I can pretty much guarantee that lol. I know this: if both starting CBs are out, I can’t imagine a scenario in which MN wins. If both play, I feel good about the chances of a win.
