You’re saying we lose the bowl game? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we win the bowl game. I wouldn’t even be surprised if we beat Wisconsin, although I’d pick Wisconsin.

Bowl games are impossible to predict with all the players sitting out to protect their draft status.

I am not sure of your age, but you know how many seasons like this I have been lucky enough to witness? Over 50 for sure. If you are younger than me you have a lot more to look forward too. If your not I feel your pain.

Texan Gopher, I think you should take stock of where you are and who you're talking about. You're on a Gophers forum talking about a Gophers player. These are our boys and they give their utmost. Win or lose, succeed or fail, they deserve better from fans than this.

They have a good shot to win next week and Minnesota is always at the bottom of the B1G in the bowl pecking order so they won't be matched up against a tough team in whatever bowl they go to.

Minnesota doesn't have a good team but it's not like they'll be playing anyone who is better. Below average team next week and a low level bowl team in December.

I think his comment was harsh but these aren't just "our boys" anymore. They're paid professionals and some of them are being paid very well.

No bet. PJ will win another meaningless bowl game, the fans will pretend that bowl record of his is impressive and important, his agent will start some ridiculous rumor that he is being courted by other teams, Coyle will extend him, and we will do it all over again next year. Groundhog Day.

They get an education paid for that is valued at probably over $80,000 classes, food, amenities and so forth.

They get paid NIL money.

If you do something and you are being paid for it in one way or another, then you're also subjected to praise or ridicule based on how you perform.

Our kicker is not good. He is playing below the level expected of him. He needs to be replaced.
