There is a bunch of angst in Gopherland. Check the negative crap at the door and finish the sentence with positivity.

I was happy with...

12 points surrendered on the road to a ranked team. Our defense has been solid this season. That hasnt been said about any Gopher defense in the last 3 coaching tenures.

Coach Brewster's honeymoon ending and he now owns the situation.

I have to agree

I hurts me that I get entirely too nervous when out offense takes the field, but I can say that I have certain level of confidence in the defense that I cannot remember since T Carter roamed the field. And really probably not even then was I really comfortable with the D.

Collado brings the wood.
Tinsley looks like a future star

I was happy with Gary Tinsley. He made me confident with the young kids we've got. Not too worried about our defense in the bowl game or next year.

losing again....ive changed my views on winning and losing and since we lose all of the time I ve learned to like it.

I was happy with Gary "Hacksaw" Tinsley, the blitzes, and the overall defensive effort.

In general--The defense bringing blitzes and being the aggressor rather than just trying to avoid giving up big plays.

Even with that, they did not give up any big plays that I can recall.

Specifically--

--Collado blitzes and support against the run
--Linemen controlling the defensive line
--Tinsley's breakout game
--Bryant Allen not only actually returning a punt, but having a great punt return

amateurdwarftosser, thanks again for keeping this going. This has been an enjoyable (albeit trying at times) ongoing thread throughout the season. Please keep it going for the bowl game and next season.

I was happy with the fact I won't have to watch Weber for 5 weeks.

I was happy with the rest of the games that afternoon (Wisky losing, Notre Dame losing, LSU v Ole Miss).

I was happy with the complete game my Vikings played today...

And I was happy with the defensive effort. Specifically Hacksaw Tinsley and "Beer me" Carter

I was happy with driving to the game from the west, enjoying the drive through campus seeing all the maroon and gold, grabbing some seats in a brand new stadium in (sometimes) perfect fall weather, watching some college football cheering for the Gophers, then (win or lose) hitting up Frankies Pizza for the ride back home and thinking, wow, that was a fun day!

The defense especially the DL, Collado, Sherels, Carter, and Tinsley, Blake Haudan, and Bryant Allen on punt returns.

Blake Haudan has really stood out this season, save two punts, he has been outstanding!

The defense is looking very good. Carter, collado, tinsley, cooper, edwards...

McKnight is making some nice progress as well. He could be a monster by the time he's a senior.

I was happy with the Gopher D and also Notre Dame getting beat.

I was also very happy with the Marching Band Indoor Concert on Sunday. If you missed it, you missed something special.

Beef,

Youre welcome. I do plan on it. This is probably going to sound preachy, but I hope this brings some positivity to this board. I have posted for years here and the negative crap dominates. I am just tired of 100% negative 100% of the time.

Cosgrove.

Everyone who was predicting he would be a disater owes the man an apology.
