Didn't catch the name of the commercial broker, but noticed a "Property Available" sign as I was trying to catch the light after the St Joe's game. There's a background story here. Offhand, I'd think the property is valued correctly ... just wish I could afford it ...

I'd go in on it with you -you, me, and 98 of our closest friends! That place could be a gold mind with that primo location. Bring back Sparky's!!!

Please god, let Mr. Sparky still be alive and interested in the bar business. Please also let his brother, Mr. Downstairs Bar that Was Rarely Open also be alive because when that downstairs bar was open, it was awesome.

The owner of station 19 architects has been trying to lease two offices in the building for some time, are you sure it wasn't just office space for lease? I would be surprises if he is selling.

And if they were selling, I think it would be a very significant challenge to get a liquor license for that spot.

I think they are just looking for renters. That article is from last january, but since then they built that addition to the side with stairs and an elevator, it would seem strange to spend the money on that if you were going to sell it.

Hopefully they sell it and it gets turned into an awesome gopher sports bar/resturant, that would be great.

IIRC, the sign said the property was "available" so I may have jumped to a conclusion it was for sale. (I don't recall that they were quoting available square footage which is what made me think it was for sale and not rental.) I'll have to look more closely tomorrow night when I'm walking by it again.

Still, anything is for sale if the price is right.
