I predict a large walk up crowd at the ticket windows for TCU

whether we sell out is another question however.

In general TV availability has cut in to the less than die hard ticket sales. I have a 60" HD TV and it is hard not to like watching it at home or at a bar (or in bad weather) with friends. As far as Gopher football games of course I have 4 season tickets and my wife and I always have different friends as guests. Years ago one was lucky if one or two games were on TV. Now every game. The income from TV compensates however.

But as an example ; I follow the Vikes and Twins (especially the Twins), never have been to a game but have watched most of their games on TV (sometimes much to my wife's disliking).

I talked with my Son in Florida a big Gator fan. Not to many years ago tickets were like Gold --- no more!

Also we lost a generation of fans from the students during the "Dome" years.

Does anyone know how many tickets are available through the Gopher Ticket Office? I looked at the Gopher Tickets seat maps, and I mostly see single seats sprinkled here and there except on the upper deck corners.

Stubhub lists 1951 tickets still available.

VividSeats 1500 tickets listed by sellers.

Potentially we may have at least 5,000 empty seats not counting season ticket no shows (which I hope are the ones selling their tickets on VividSeats/Stubhub).
