I watched Wisconsin play the other night & they looked really good! Yes, their PG is gone for the season but Brust can handle the ball pretty well, Berggren is a fricking beast, Bruesewitz can play & the Freshman Sam Dekker is absolutely amazing. Dekker looks like Larry Bird out there, I sh*t you not.

I think I need a shower now...
 

Iowa looked really good beating Iowa State last night. Iowa is starting three (3) freshmen (Woodbury, Gessell and Clemmons). Mix in White, Marble, Basabe and Oglesby and you have a deep team that will get better as the freshmen improve. Wisconsin and Iowa will not be cake walks this year.
 

We'll see how they look against Marquette. I predict a 35-33 game either way.

His shot hit the backboard so hard it bounced off without touching the rim. If Wisconsin gets ahead, just foul Evans.

OT: Purdue lost to Eastern Michigan. Bad year for the Gophers to play Purdue and Penn State once each (towards the end of the season).
 





I think Wisconsin is a team we should sweep. They are 6-4, which is one of the worst out of conference records in the B1G, and their schedule has not been that impressive.
 


Ok, ok, Wiscy got beat by Marquette, ya got me. I was talking about the game I watched the other night vs Cal where they won by 25. I still think Wiscy will be good by mid-season & Sam Dekker is going to be All-B1G in his career. I've got a pretty good nose for talent & that Dekker kid is going to be huge! I'd trade Joe Coleman for Dekker in a heartbeat. When you see him play live you will see that his body & game look like...Larry Bird.
 


Was expecting Dekker to get off to a quicker start (not that he started poorly). I think anyone who has seen him play enough would agree he will he an All-BIG caliber player.

Larry Bird from Indiana State? The Hick from French Lick? The guy who played for the Celtics? That guy? That guy averaged 32.8 points his first year as a Sycamore, along with 13.3 rebounds per game. Hit .840 of his free throws and dished out 4.4 assists. I honestly don't think Badger fans gush over Dekker quite like you're doing and they really like him.
 

If Davante Gardner can do this to Wisconsin, what are Dre, Rodney, Austin, Coleman etc. going to do to Wisco? Mo may even have a chance to go coast-to-coast.

I'm hoping this post is a joke of some sort, but I think you may be serious. You sure do have a nose for talent - Dekker was the #13 player in the country and a 5 star according to Rivals. Amazing that you could come to the conclusion that he could become All-Big Ten.

This is Bo's most flawed team in awhile (due in large part to Gasser's injury) - they will need Dekker to do a serious Bird impersonation to be more than an average team in the Big Ten.

I don't follow recruiting much outside of the Gophers (especially Wisconsin recruiting) so I wasn't aware he's a 5*. Just a late night rambling after a few beers. Just saying he doesn't look like he'd be a player, but after watching him play about 2 minutes I realized this guy is very, very good.
