I for one appreciate our Coaches, Staff and Players

You know, the world is full of negative people.

Okay, so the Gophers aren't having such a great season, but that's no reason to boo and say bad things about them.

You know, I don't know where I heard it, but I thought you were supposed to root, root, root for the home team.

So the next time you're at the Bank, if you can't yell something nice, don't yell anything at all.

This has been just one guy's opinion.

Thank you Sam Malone!

Okay Coach. Just to set the record straight on backyard football, some of the most fiercely played games happen with no pads between friends. And, the play calling is as creative as any ever chalked. So, before you cut down the truest amateurs out there...
lol. I was NOT trying to cut down backyard players. In fact, just last fall I pulled a hammy when on the verge of showing my grandkids a thing or two about how this game should be played, but enough about my glory days... I'm all for drawing up genius in the dirt. If you come up with something special, send it to JK and the boys and if it truly is genius, you may see it this weekend.

I have been very supportive of the coaches and players and we all appreciate the efforts and significant improvements that are being made. But there has been a constant criticism of the offense over the years that has been totally justified.

Even the coaching staff has acknowledged the problems with the offense. They justified the weakness by saying it is the last part of the system to be installed, etc... This is the year when the excuses stop. Kill has shown his frustration with the offense by stating new yardage and scoring goals after the TCU game, he told the media that he was embarrassed at halftime of the CSU game. They partially moved to a no huddle offense, etc... Kill knows that they have problems, so it is only understandable that some of the GHers may also notice it and make comments.

+1 Well said.

It is not like we lost to Toledo at home.

This would've been a worse loss than losing to Toledo at home. We'd be a pick-'em at home vs. Toledo if we played this week.

And? I never said anything about losing to CSU. My point was we lost to TCU at home and beat CSU on the road. Better to compare TCU and Toledo.

I am sure Butthead at Arkansas would lump TCU and Toledo together. Not many others would....lol

Very well stated. Kill's halftime radio interview was one of the most honest reactions I have ever heard from a coach. Usually with coaches you have to wade through all the "coach speak" but you could hear the frustration and anger in Kill's voice about the way the offense was playing.

And I totally agree that this is the year where all rebuilding crutch starts to not be a valid excuse anymore. If the players they have on the roster can't get the offense to perform at the level it needs to in order to take the next step up then it is on the staff to find the right players and it is 100% on them if they can't. They know this and you can bet there is a major sense of urgency on their part to get it fixed. Especially when they look over and see a defense that is good enough to keep the team in most if not all the games this year. We will find out over the remainder of the season if they can get enough out of the offense to get us to where we all want to be.
