Would be with three different coaches, as well, which is bananasUCONN is a 7.5 favorite against SDSU. That's doesn't seem like enough. Miami's 13 point loss is the closest any opponent has come to them in this tournament.
This tournament seemed to be special because it featured 3 final four teams who had never gone this far with two of them being non-majors. In the end, though, the likely champion appears to be a familiar one who will have won its 5th national championship in the last 25 years.
Has any national championship winner had a shorter career than Kevin Ollie in the last 30 years?Would be with three different coaches, as well, which is bananas
Dave Chizek, the former Auburn football coach comes to mindHas any national championship winner had a shorter career than Kevin Ollie in the last 30 years?
Who? You mean Gene? I guess that's the point. In basketball there's no one close to Ollie IIRC.Dave Chizek, the former Auburn football coach comes to mind
Might have been a mutual parting, but Ed Orgeron was gone from LSU less than 2 full seasons after winning a national championship.Dave Chizek, the former Auburn football coach comes to mind
My bad, Gene, not sure where I got Dave from lolWho? You mean Gene? I guess that's the point. In basketball there's no one close to Ollie IIRC.
