My aspirational motto with apologies to Notre Dame: “Play for a champion!”
The frustrating part about todays college football is that as impressive as it is putting guys in the pros, Lindenberg will probably make less than some of the Oregon and Michigan LB’ers.I am seeing a lot of "hope it sticks language on here" and it is even from myself. However it should be noted - next year we will have 3 (Cashman, Gibbons and Lindenberg) or 4 if you count Boye Maye as a OLB. All of which went to the NFL under Fleck. Because we are not a linebacker U - you can come in and be part of the rotation almost immediately on a potential top 10 NCAA defense that has the potential at a playoff run in 2026/27 if the offensive talent develops.
Lot to like for a new recruit.

Bud played for the Grey Eagle on those three national championship teams in the 30s. I think he was only an assistant coach for the Gophers for a short period. Maybe he learned the phrase from Bernie Bierman?Well, the phrase “play like a champion today” was coined by Bud Wilkinson while he coached at Minnesota. The slime bag Lou Holtz stole the phrase and installed it at nd
