He didn't play on last year's team. I think the question here is if the last two classes rankings for the Gophs and Indiana are pretty much the same, what else explains the wide difference in perfomance?

That is not a contract number, it is a figure using a proprietary algorithm that considers performance, influence, and exposure.

Just like all reports on NIL “value” it is, at best, a complete guess.

I agree with the general sentiment here; a lot of gopher fans saying IU has so much more NIL kinda seems like cope. Although it does seem like Cubes gave a vague amount of money to the program.
