As much as I hate to admit it, Georgia is my favorite to win it. They're still littered with elite talent and have been the scariest team in the country over the last 5 years. Injuries, the portal, and underperforming skill guys are all concerns, but if they can play a clean game I don't see anyone beating them.1 - Oregon
2 - Georgia
3 - Ohio State
4 - Boise State
5 - Penn State
6 - Notre Dame
7 - Texas
8 - Arizona State
Giving us:
Oregon vs. ASU
BSU vs. PSU
Georgia vs. Texas
OSU vs. ND
Putting Georgia 2 alleviates the SEC folk from pissing and moaning too much (or not) for having the last two SEC teams play each other in the quarterfinal round.
Maybe Gunner will become this years version of Cardale Jones and lead the Bulldogs to the NC.
That being said, I think this is as wide open as it has been in many years. I think Oregon, Texas, OSU, and Penn State can all win it. I think Riley Leonard is overrated and can't beat you with his arm. BSU is too one dimensional and I don't think ASU has the front 7 to stop drives and get off the field against the big boys.
Anything can happen. Super excited for tomorrow.
