Good time for a bye week?

I'm sure the team could use a break at this point in this season and the extra week to prepare for Wisconsin will be nice. But when you're on a roll you want to keep it going too.

Extra time to prepare and scheme? And heal.

Or come out flat and lose our momentum?

You always hear both sides of this argument.

Edit: bye

Could go either way, but unless we are more banged up than I am being told I would prefer to just keep playing. Last bye week played out quite well tho!

I usually wait until Black Friday to do most of my buying...

Bolded gets my vote.

I think with how good this staff is at making adjustments at halftime, the adjustments to Wiscy over a bye week should be exciting. I'm looking forward to see what we have up our sleeves. I still am a bit unsure of our ability to stop Wisconsin's ground game, but I'm a lot more hopeful than I was a few weeks ago.

I think a bye week will be good. We've got a lot of guys banged up. An extra week to recover and prepare for our biggest rival and a chance at a winning B1G record/another trophy for the case? Yes, please.

I feel like it's a good time to get a bye, before what will most likely be our two most physical games of the year. I felt that way before the season even started, and I feel that way even more now.

Get guys refreshed, refocused, maybe a quick dive into some fundamentals just to make sure everything's tight before these last two big games. We've been riding a pretty good wave, and I understand the idea of not wanting to lose momentum, but I just think there's a point when a letdown was gonna happen, and I think this bye week will allow them to kinda fall back for a minute, and get re-energized before a HUGE matchup.

No impact at all. We have a bye that was scheduled two years ago, not today. I'm sure the players and staff can handle it.

I think its great. Lets the players enjoy what has been and allows the players to heal up before a couple very physical games to wrap up the year. Sure wont hurt the legs.

Amen!

Allow us to have time to prepare for WI like a bowl game!

With 2/5's of our starting OL injured this week, they bye week will help the healing process. Also, it gives the staff additional time to develop schemes and plans to stop the Badger running attack.

Also should give Wells another week to get the shoulder back to 100% & heal up those tweaked ankles Engel & Cobb appear to have been playing on.

It will be nice to get some guys back to %100 again and possible get a couple more back to playing. We will need them for the final 2 games.

Will we get Rodrick back in time for the final stretch? We are going to nee three healthy backs in addition to all the mending.
