How much experience is enough?

I am wondering, as I see all the names tossed about, how much experience is enough to warrant a 5 year, 10 mil plus contract?

All coaching hires have risk...are we better off with a guy like Golden who has 4 plus years HC and 5 years DC experience but isn't quit on the radar of places like GA and LSU...or do we take a OC or DC with no HC experience but substantially longer tenure as an assistant? Or is it Leach or Fulmer or no way?

Brewster was a bad hire because he had NO experience...Wacker and Mason had HC experience but didn't get it done...although I believe if Mason had TCF...he could have done better. Is our next hire an OC or DC with no HC experience?
