With all the injuries on the O-Line, it's conceivable that Bak could enter next season as the most experienced Guard the Gophers have.
He wasn't a starter last year, but due to injuries he played a LOT, and started most of the games later in the Big Ten schedule.
He wasn't a starter this year, but already he's been forced to start more than half the games they've played already (if I recall correctly).
So how good is he? And does he parlay all that experience next year into a starting position? He could enter next season with more PT/experience than Tommy O.
For better or worse, the Gophers are going to enter next year with a LOT of players who have logged significant minutes on the field, in Big Ten action. It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out next spring/fall.
