How do you get to the end of a thread?

Hello, long time reader but first time poster. It seems that with the new format I can no longer click on the last page of a thread to get to the most recent posts. Instead I have been opening a thread, scrolling through the first page to find a link to the most recent posts. Does anyone have a simpler way?

There are radio buttons on the lower right with an up arrow and a down arrow. Click on that and it will get you to the very top or the very bottom of the thread page.
 

Also once you've read a complete thread, clicking on the thread does automatically take you to the most recent ones...

Does this still work for you? For the longest time it did for me, but hasn’t for a couple weeks. I now have to hit the “jump to new” button.

Works on my PC but not my iPad.
 



When I saw the title "How do you get to the end of a thread?" I thought it was referring to how we each navigate to the end of endless threads. Case in point, the JD Spielman thread where there's no use going through the posts because there's no real information, just posters arguing among themselves.

Thanks for your input. My suggestion is don't go into the thread then. More effective than complaining about others not using GH the way you want.

If I respond more than once to your comment, as most do, then this thread will devolve into another meaningless one.

This is one thing that has become a legit disappointment with the new format. It was working but now the common action of revisiting a thread to see the latest posts is a chore. Interesting to hear it works on a computer because it definitely doesn’t work now on an iphone.
 

As long as I have opened the thread, it takes me to the end on my Android.

Yes, I haven't experienced anything different...
 



‘Tis a question right up there with “Conan, what is best in life,” “do star rankings matter,” “mason vs kill/Claeys vs Fleck,” and “hand timed or electric.”

There's just a few posters that seem to spend all their time doing this. It's easy to remove them from your feed. Click on their name and select "ignore". It makes the threads much more readable.
