How can the Gophers reduce their TURNOVERS?

Well, it is really very simple. I would rather hit the nail on the head than hit a guy in the schnoz with the ball. :)
 

take more low% jumpshots shots rather passing and dribbling the ball in order to get a better shot or draw a foul
 

Think the scout is joking, but there is some merit in taking quick shots, vs. forcing in passes. I'm a proponent of doing that for the first five possessions to make sure we have shots only vs. turnovers. One pass and a shot for the first 3 minutes. If you look at most of our production in the first 3 minutes it is usually poor from a scoring standpoint.

This strategy makes sense for all levels of basketball for big games when people are nervous.
