Hope it goes better than the stripeout hoco game against Purdue a couple years back. At least I think that was homecoming that year.

My first thought too, yes that was Homecoming.

At the alumni center they were still handing out badges maybe 3-4 years ago….. I simply assumed I missed the handouts the past few years. Are they no longer made?

I feel like I've seen them for sale in the bookstore somewhat recently but I don't remember how long ago that was.

I would guess the Gophers were just guaranteed it won't be a night game, on either Friday or Saturday evening.

Could just as easily be an 11am contest like the last time they hosted Purdue on Homecoming. I can envision it opposite whatever Fox has lined up for their Big Noon Kickoff on BTN, FS1 or Peacock.

Interesting that week (Oct 10-11) is one of 2 during the season in which there will be 9 Big 10 Conference games that weekend. The only other is the season finale.

There are some other really attractive matchups (based on how the teams performed in 2024) for the big 3 networks Fox/11am, CBS/2:30pm & NBC/prime time windows.

Illinois hosts Ohio St
Oregon hosts Indiana
Wisconsin hosts Iowa
USC hosts Michigan

Notre Dame will also host NC State on NBC that Saturday, TBA.
