What was the biggest sports story of the 2012-2013 Gopher sports year?
You guys are some serious bball homers. The women's team clearly trumps anything the other Gopher teams did. 49 straight wins in hockey? That's extraordinary at any level.

The biggest news to the know nothing basketball fans was the implosion of the basketball team predicted by none other than me in January, in so many couched words and phrases.
Don't dislocate your shoulder with the pat on your own back.
If I may interject here, the topic was "What was the biggest sports story?"
The Tubby/Pitino was a bigger story due to the popularity of basketball at the U. The achievements of the Womens' Hockey Team were great, but not the biggest story.
Beat me to it. That post was absurd...almost as absurd as Parski's. Good ol' Parski.
Gopherhole would not be as much fun without Parski.
Maybe not bigger news....but had to go with the National Championship
