Hole Poll: What grade would you give the Gophers running game vs New Mexico State?

I'd give it a B if that was an option. Williams and Nelson both had very good games running it, but a few of those 15 yard jail breaks would have been housed by shifty fast backs. We didn't need the points in this game, but we will later in the season.

A-. Started out rough, but improved as the game went on. This the reason for the A-. Once we got in rhythm, we ran it pretty well.

Seriously...why bother with the pole question if you are going to limit the answers to this degree? Granted you probably don't need the low range for this one but could at least go down to C or something.

I voted a- should of been a b, b+ the more I think about it.. the play action shoud have been more prevalent with how well we were running the ball

I would like to see less of Nelson running, he's great at it but I worry about him being crushed in conference.

I am still waiting for the Gophers to pound the rock. Sure the stats were much better but there were too many runs under three yards. The OL has yet to dominate the LOS.
