I have taken Thursday and Friday off every year for about a decade.
 



Scoreboard watch at work all day tomorrow and Friday morning, and took friday afternoon off to catch those games. You just can't beat the first weekend of march madness!

I used to take Thursday and Friday off, now that I'm my own employer, Thursday and Friday is project day which gets completed in the boardroom where I stream the games. Employees probably think less of me and the other managers that are working on these projects, but who cares. No reason to hide it.

The boss can do any damned thing he pleases. :)
 


I got chicken pox in 1994 when I was 11 and got to stay home and watch the tournament all day long. I was hooked. I have not went to school or worked a full day during the first two days since. It is my most cherished and longest running tradition.
 



If the Gophers aren't it my dedication to the tourney takes a huge hit. I'll watch a few games if nothing else is going on. Plus, I have NIT fever.

I also take Thursday and Friday off. People at work laugh at me, but I tell them it's better than pretending to work those days. These are my two favorite days of the year bar none. Christmas and Thanksgiving have nothing on the NCAA tournament.
