I voted we'll lose the first game. That should guarantee a victory.
 

We do matchup well with Illinois. They're not very big on the inside. This team will go as far as Trevor and Dre carry them. This will be a home court advantage for Illinois and I would expect a lot of their fans to attend. I said Minnesota would lose the final 3 games of the season before the dance. I'm sticking with that. You need 5 warriors going into the BTT and the dance. We've one in
Trevor. Like many of you, I waiting to see what Woody does in the next 30 days in regards to rejuvenating Gopher basketball.
 

Illinois will come out hot and beat Tubby's boys 74-58. Could be Tubby's last game as Head Coach if Teague turns down the NIT bid.
 

You're getting pretty far out there on that limb Moses.
 


I actually think the Gophers could do well. We are definately not a team that anyone hopes to play. We go from beating #1 Indiana to losing to Nebraska. No expert in the world wants to predict how our season ends up. We are the Gary Busey of college basketball.
 

The question is: Is the Gopher team bi-polar, or are they paranoid schizophrenics?

Seriously, I'm torn on this. I really want to see the team do well, but the better the team does in the post-season, the better chance that no changes are made in the coaching staff. And win or lose, I want to see a major shake-up in the coaching staff. If Tubby is back, I want to see some new, younger and more aggressive assistants to kick-start the recruiting. I just get the sense that the program is sliding into complacency.
 

After the Nerbraska game I decided to skip the Purdue game. Based on the score it went just as I had predicted. This team will not be able to beat Illinois and we will be anxious on Selection Sunday, even though we'll probably get in.
 

I love the optimism, but I want to know what the two folks who picked the Gophers to win the BTT are smoking!

A game or two, maybe, but the probability of this skitzo team beating (likely) four NCAA-caliber squads (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan/Wisconsin, Ohio State/Michigan State) on back-to-back-to-back-to back days. ... we have a better chance of winning the national championship.

I guess I wasn't expecting much when we made that run to the BTT Final a few years ago either, so anything's possible. If we do grab a big win against Illinois though, I wouldn't be shocked at all if we beat IU again. We just seem to match up well against them IMO. 3 of the last 4 games against them have been pretty darn good. Then suddenly you're in the semis with all kinds of momentum and people are back on the bandwagon.

But I agree, I like our chances to win the national title more than win this BTT haha.
 

I'm on board for a Big Ten Tournament Championship! But why stop there??? I love the fact that I'm on vacation right now. 'Dre is going to be the next Kemba Walker en route to our first NCAA national championship! Let's go Gophers.

I like out chances of getting to the final 4 more than I like our chances of winning the BTT. So about .5%
 


I think we're likely to lose all 4 games.
 



Everything from losing 1st round to making the final wouldn't surprise me with how bi-polar this team is.
