Hole Poll: 5 years from now, which new BT HC will be considered the best hire?

Sweater vest did all he could to make sure it was Brady Hoke. I would say Michigan is in the best position to take advantage of the existing circumstances.

If Hoke keeps doing what he's saying, he'll be great for Michigan.. Which sucks because that'll give us that much more competition in our division.

I'm gonna take the 'save' route and say Hoke. Although I'll be obviously cheering pretty hardy for Coach Kill the next 5 or so years. =D

Rival's Michigan's Recruiting Rankings:
2010 - 20
2009 - 8
2008 - 10
2007 - 12
2006 - 13
2005 - 6
2004 - 5
2003 - 17

How did RichRod's ridiculous rankings (and piggybacking on the previous regime's) work out for them? I would like to see some empirical evidence that Hoke can coach.

I included the 2003 class assuming that there would be some redshirt freshmen that would have been seniors in RichRod's first year.

Not trying to hack on you Formo (I really like what you add to this board), but there has been a nearly decade long failure to take a great recruiting class to the heights that Michigan expects. I need convincing that Hoke is that guy.

Oh, I don't have any evidence to prove my post. I just feel that Michigan is a bigger sleeping giant than we are right now and fear that Hoke might be the crazy bastard to poke said giant in the friggin' eye. Everything I've read and seen from him (what he says) is impressive. Kinda like how Coach Kill rolls.

To add, I'm much happier that Hoke passed on us because I like the Kill hire more. They both seem to roll the same way (no-nonsense, saying all the right things, etc.), but Kill has the record. But in 5 years from now, while I think Kill will have us on the right track, I think Michigan will be in a much better position just because they are Michigan.

No scientific evidence to prove my post.. Just my gut feelings.
