I said it in another thread, UCLA is going to make a serious run at Billy Donovan and if that doesn't pan out, I think Buzz is #2 at UCLA.

UCLA is delusional. Billy Donovan is never leaving Florida as long as Jeremy Foley is AD.

After all potentials are locked in, so no one else can get them, Woody will bring in a true Secretariat at half the price. The guy is no dummy.

Yeah, they might be. That's their pipe dream, supposedly. I don't follow it too closely. They'll come with a TON of money and the best of the best. It's probably even easier to recruit to UCLA than Florida, so we'll see.

The thing that sucks about the fake Hoiberg to Minnesota rumor that Doogie fell for is that the media is all over Minnesota on twitter saying we struck out again, when its highly likely that Doogie got used by someone in Hoiberg's camp.

Teague's plan is to get everyone locked in that other schools are after, and BAM he gets his man for about 1.8 million per year. Teague is no Dummy.

I am hearing the same thing, the "source" of our "serious" interest in Fred Hoiberg, was Fred's agent...Fred's doing a great job in Ames though and happy for my friends there that he's staying (although that was never in question).

THAT fact remains to be seen yet. Let's see how this all plays out. But the dude had best be treating Flip well...that is if Flip wants to talk to him... From what I have seen of our new norwood...the dude brings a pretty mixed bag to the table...

Well thats good to hear. Now maybe my Dad ( proud Iowa State College graduate class of 54 ) will let me come to Thanksgiving dinner. He let me know in no uncertain terms that if The Mayor left Ames that no Gophers would be welcome !
 



Congrats to Flip Jr. on the extension! Hopefully Teague is getting a kickback on all of these extensions coaches are getting, they could be breaking ground on a practice facilty next week.

Why would Teague be getting the kickback? Read the article, we never even offered Hoiberg. Doogie should be getting the kickback. In fact, could someone put a tweet into that chinless worm saying that Bob Loblaw is on high demand from Medtronic or maybe Dorsey Whitney?
