saw it on Myron's Twitter, but here's the link. Crazy - the last Gopher to receive this was DC in 2007, I say it's been way to long. Great job, Blake!

Hoff BT POW

A pretty easy decision for the Big 10 offices, as there were so few games last week because of finals. Tough to beat school-record 8 3's, and only missing 2 shots. Good to see Blake get his stroke back; we'll need a lot more of 'em during the Big 10 season.

Only one response on this...

Every little morsel in the Royce White saga is pounced upon by the pack of hungry dogs that is the 'Hole, leading to 80 or more posts. Now, the only piece of GOOD news of the day and nothing. Sad.

Good job Hoffarber! Glad to have you, a true student-athlete.

Agreed.

Yes, and Hoff only got one thread!

I can start another one, if you like? He deserves at least 2, haha!

That's always something I didn't understand, people complain about negativity, but no one reads the good stuff.

He's a career 40.4% from 3-pt FG range.

I read it ... in fact your postings catch my eye because your a positive contributor with insightful information. The same goes for Friend of Tubby.

"He's a career 40.4% from 3-pt FG range."

Yes he is.

Freshman year: 70-164 = 42.7%
Sophomore year: 45-132 = 34.1%
Junior year: 29-60 = 48.3%

I would suggest the above stats reflect that Blake "got his stroke back." Anyone who was at Williams Arena last year on a regular basis and/or followed the Gophers from up close would acknowledge Blake wasn't nearly as deadly from 3 in his sophomore season. To me, that's the single most important thing that's happened for the Gophers during the nonconference schedule. ... when Blake lines up a 3, I feel like it has a great chance of going in every time. That wasn't the case last season.

Hoffarber represents what college basketball should be all about.

Anyone remember

Anyone remember if any other player on our current roster has won this award? Westbrook perhaps? Has Hoff won this before?

My wife doesn't call me "Mr. Memory" for nothing.
