Are the Wednesday games televised or shown on line anywhere? Would love to catch the Delasalle game.

The games aren't on TV but not sure about online or anything

De La Salle up by 12 in the 2nd half. Sacir Amin with 16 on 7 of 11, Jarvis has 4 on 2 for 10.

That's not very impressive from Jarvis today

I'm always impressed with Sacar.

Jarvis will get it together in the 2nd half or as the tourney moves on,

but Sacar carries this team offensively, defensively, and on the boards.

Are you watching, or just from the box score? Just curious. Is he playing poorly or just missing shots?

No wasn't watching today just the box score. I have seen him play a few times this year and just wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be for a decently high ranked recruit. I'll be there this weekend though so hopefully he changes my mind about him. I'm not watching him every game so I'm not going to rag on the kid that much

Also anybody think this might be the year DeLaSalle finally gets beat? I saw they only won by 10 today. I don't really know about any other teams in class AAA, but it would sure be nice to see them lose as I can't stand their hotdog of a coach

Jarvis must have finished the game better- 14 points on 6-14 shooting 0-1 3 pointers, 3 assists, 3 steals and a block.

Not overwhelming but not bad.

I don't think they get beat this year... I would like to see Saint Paul Johnson play them in the championship, but I think they will win that game too.

Yeah I would probably have to agree with you. Probably not a team strong enough to hang with them for a full game in AAA

Two Albany gaurds got hot in the last 7 minutes to bring them to five point deficit. The two gaurds had 25 and 21 or something like that. I was at the game and it looked like Jarvis was holding back a little bit. He was still breaking ankles with crossovers. After Albany got it back to a close game he started to score. With around a minute left an Albany gaurd was up on Jarvis near half court and saw him mouth "get ready" and then Jarvis broke the defenders broke ankles and made it to the hoop in one play. I definitely think he could have took over at any point in the game, but held back

This is a pretty common thought while watching Jarvis play.

Can't wait to see if Pitino can get more out of him. The ability to make plays is there. Perhaps he will be more aggressive playing off the ball?

I agree with the Jarvis needs to be more aggressive. He has the potential to take over games and be dominant, but it's almost like he's afraid to. Might be part of the coaching at DeLaSalle too just from sitting behind the bench at a few games and he chews the players out for taking wide open jumpers

Anybody watching the Delasalle game on tv cuurently? If so, Hows Sacar and Jarvis looking?

I was trying to watch it but apparently my employer frowns upon watching ball while at work.

4A AND 3A semi's are Friday.

He looks very smooth and has really found his team mates with nice passes but he is not trying to penetrate or score much. I'm not sure if that's by design or not. I've seen him take a mid range 2pt shot- a miss, and a three from the corner forced late in the clock and he aired balled it so not great so far from that aspect. He has 5 points at the half.

Jarvis looks good in the open court. Good ball handler and a good passer. Still has a long way to go on the scoring part of his game though

Jarvis just left the game with an injury. Looks like he bumped his knee on another players knee. Didn't look too serious

The shooting is a little concerning. 2-6 from the line and not much other than layups for scoring. The kid is super smooth though and almost too unselfish- totally controls the half court tempo and moves the ball really well. I think he finished with 10 points. Team mates will love him. Has to cure the shot issue or they will play off him in the Big Ten. Mar- I really like - man he's going to be a force. Anim- really good player, he's just a good basketball player and it's a little harder to see exactly how he plugs in at the major college level. Might be great- not sure. He scored a ton off run outs in the second half- really plays hard and runs well. Swished a 3 later in the game.

Yeah I agree Sacar had a nice game but almost all his points were slashing lay-ups. Be interesting to see how good he will be at Marquette. I think he will be a solid player there, but not great or anything. As far as Jarvis goes do you kind of seem him as like a Al Nolen type? I feel like he's still way further along in regard to shooting compared to Nolen, but still has a long way to go

I didn't get to see as much of the game as I would have liked but you could definitely see the athleticism that Jarvis has. DLS seemed really patient with their offense and really working for only certain shots and I think Jarvis is better suited for a more free flowing offense like the Gophers run. I would like to see him be more aggressive and take some quick shots earlier in the possession at times but I think he doesn't because that isn't the style DLS wants to play. Hoping to see most of the 6pm Champlin Park/Shakopee game and get a look at McKinley Wright, Theo John, and Steffon Mitchell.
