Great job, indeed. Student section was full and loud. Best energy in that building in a while. Ya'll even stayed for the Rouser! I think you have to give it up to us Crusties too.

Yes, I did think the "crusties" overall improved - but seriously, if there is less than one minute left in the game I can not understand how the majority of fans don't stand up and make more noise with the students.
 

I thought we did decent tonight. Atleast we did better than any prior game this year, (which honestly isn't saying much).
 

I was happy I could actually hear the crowd on TV.

Standing is borderline meaningless. Being loud is what matters and it was plenty loud in that building tonight and it wasn't just students. Not by a long shot. (Students were great, as mentioned.) I am in the front row of the 2nd deck, so don't stand, except for when Rodney Williams or some other terrific play forces me to jump out of my seat, because that would force every single row behind me to stand. The people directly behind me are in their 70s.

Agree. If you watch the video of Austin at the end of regulation, there are people actually sitting down. WTF? I had to stand up during that play at home when I watched the game again on replay last night...
