So, is this an entitlement issue or is this a kid exhibiting a struggle perhaps on the autism spectrum that locked him up where he couldn't play?

The other question is whether the coach should have publicly shamed the kid. Who deserves the reprimand, the player or the coach?

I’m with not shaming the kid in public no matter what. You’re right that there is a difference between a developmental problem and being an entitled brat.
