Hay is not in the barn….

I took it to mean with the school since the House settlement is kicking off revenue sharing for the student athletes.
I did not take it that way at all, but maybe I'm wrong. (Nobody knows what schools are paying yet, do they?)

For what it's worth, last year Gopher players announced they were coming back by posting that they're with Dinkytown Athletes. Darius and Koi promoted Roy, but didn't mention Dinkytown Athletes. Just today, DA had posts about Anthony Smith and Kerry Brown, but nothing about Koi and Darius yet.

All part of this crazy world of college athletics now where we have to sit on pins and needles as fans hoping our favorite players come back. And then we have to hope they actually mean it when they say they are coming back.

Miss the good ole days when a player committed to your school and there was a good chance they would play their entire career there.....But those days are long gone.

The trouble is the horses in the barn can be tempted by sweeter and more oats elsewhere.

The revenue sharing agreements are signed with the schools not the collectives.

Minnesota will have to spend up to the limit to stay competitive. I believe Coyle confirmed they’d do so.

I would be pretty surprised if Koi isn't back. He legit had a dream to play for the Gophers and recently publicly stated he's not leaving. I know there's always the possibility that someone makes a Godfather offer but I think he likely stays here.

You think Koi would leave for pizza????

Correct. I know Burns said "rev share," but I don't believe that's what he meant. Maybe I'm wrong.
Now that Koi and Darius have re-upped with Dinkytown Athletes, I'm not worried at all.

WHOA! Every coach in DI just said F U Brian Kelly!!! If this is legal....PJ needs to answer.
Doing it through a foundation so maybe there is a loophole for a tax deduction? If so, pay the money in taxes or donate to your team....not a tough call.

I'm pretty confident the $20 million Buckeye fund offered Koi a pretty nice number last year around this time.
My post was a joke about a Godfather offer (like Godfathers pizza). Maybe not a good joke, but an attempt anyway.

lol...and I think I was more answering the idea in the thread that schools would now offer Koi big money. I guess define BIG Money...if somebody would offer multiple millions, I'm thinking he'd probably leave but I also don't think that'll happen.
I do think Ohio State offered a lot more than we did as a high schooler.
