OSU has just as good a shot as ND.It'll only happen if Alabama, Clemson, Georgia or ND have to delay a significant game. Everyone else has no chance at the National Championship, so why bother?

I don't disagree, but since the B1G is the outlier here in terms of Games played and when the season starts I don't see them delaying for that sake only.OSU has just as good a shot as ND.
There are going to be more postponements in other conferences too. If there are not going to be traditional bowl games, why not play the BCS final four games in late January. There's no rush.I don't disagree, but since the B1G is the outlier here in terms of Games played and when the season starts I don't see them delaying for that sake only.
You’re not wrong. And yet, the CFP (that’s the name now, officially, legally, not BCS) explicitly announced they wouldn’t change the dates. There are going to be more postponements in other conferences too. Again, I don't disagree, but I just don't think the powers that be will use the same logic. There are going to be more postponements in other conferences too. If there are not going to be traditional bowl games, why not play the BCS final four games in late January. There's no rush.
Reconsider? This is big time college football, nobody reconsiders ... What? Wait. You’re not wrong. And yet, the CFP (that’s the name now, officially, legally, not BCS) explicitly announced they wouldn’t change the dates.
Maybe if more schools (the right schools) experience delays, they’ll reconsider.
