Gymnastics 2022-23 Season

The coach of Minnesota Women's Gymnastics is Jenny Hansen.

Her accomplishments at Minnesota are many. Two that stand out to me:

1) Many of her players have achieved numerous impressive accomplishments and honors.

2) Big Ten Coach of the Year.

As usual, Gophers rocked Floor!

Gianna Gerdes with a 9.95.

Halle Remlinger with a 9.925.

Mya Hooten with a 9.95.

#17 Minnesota (196.8) beat a strong performance by #24 Maryland (196.65) today.

Guaranteed second place and a shot at first. Got physically ill after watching that horrendous beam rotation. My goodness.😐

Right, some strong scores offset by some bad ones pulling it down like a boat anchor. They had a few off scores today.

Maddie Quarles with a perfect 10 on vault.

Back to back 10's!!

SIX career perfect 10's for star Mya Hooten!!

Gophers Top 197 for Second Week in a Row, Earn Road Victory in Meeting With Razorbacks

The University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team finished with a score of 197.075 in a win against the No. 16 Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday night. The Gophers will head back to Minneapolis with a win before traveling to Iowa for the Big Ten Championships on March 18.

Total team score for beam has been the weakness of the team. Gophers made progress there.

Gophers rule floor.

The queen Mya Hooten!

I want to optimistic, but I don't see us getting out of the first round.
