I've seen Gray on the field for punt team. He and Sherels were chatting it up after that last punt.
Good to see.

Sherels played a good game. He's just about the only one.

Sherels had 8 solo tackles, one of being for loss which led the team

4-0 versus 0-3. Annnnd " England swings like a pendulum do, Bobbi's on bicycles two by two, Westminster Abby the Tower of Big Ben" Vikings go 0-4 to continue the trend

Who Is better coached? Vikes or Gophers? !!!!!!!!!!!

Well considering Jerry knows the damn rules of the game he coaches I'd say it's an easy answer. Dammit Leslie keep the flag in your pocket.

I'm pretty sure the refs got that wrong. I'm not sure why that wasn't returnable. The returner muffed the punt, then recovered it and had possession, then fumbled. A fumble can be advanced.

Edit: For anyone who cares, the crew got it wrong. At the most, the Vikings should have been charged a timeout, not a 15 yard penalty. They changed that rule before the year started.

I thought he was on the chopping block after the preseason but he proved his worth today. He had a great game in the loss.

All Sherels does is play football. Even if Cook hadn't been injured, he would do well to stand on the sidelines for a few games and watch Marcus play. I saw at least one pass he defensed that Cook wouldn't have defensed and at least a few tackles that Cook wouldn't have wanted any part in making.

Go Gophers!!

Easily the best Viking today

I found myself cheering for Sherels more than the Vikings as a whole. Had a very good game. Have to assume that Spielman and Frazier are happy with the decision to keep him around. Easy to identify pure talent........but it's much harder to identify work ethic. Sherels has both. Still think that he could develop into a really good STARTING d-back. I have a feeling that he might be starting for the Vikes real soon.

Holy crap Marqueis is a giant. Hell of a game today for Marcus, he and Erin Henderson were the only two making plays on D

Sherels had a great game. Touchdown saving tackles on back to back plays (the second was the fake punt where he was the return man).

The Vikings punter looked pretty good too.

Great pic of the 2 of them BG... About Sherels starting-I don't know if his body would hold up. He plays wrecklessly, which is was you want, but this isn't college anymore (and he isn't big)... I do love the way he plays and he did have a great game yesterday. He may be the Vikes best open field tackler.

Gray is getting some playing time tonight for the Browns at FB in their goal line package. Pretty cool. Hopefully he can score a TD at some point this season.

With their QB out, they just might need him to take some snaps, too. lol

Gray laid down a great block on McGahee's TD run.

Yes he did. He was also on the punt block team on the punt return TD. Been on the field for both of Cleveland's touchdowns tonight.

I thought I read that he took or was about to take a wildcat snap during last weeks game. Might have caused their opponent to burn a time out. Naturally even with Sunday ticket I wasn't watching the game.

Good to see Gray getting his chance at the next level. He's a superb athlete. He had an up-and-down collegiate career because of injuries and coaching changes, but the guy is a top-drawer athlete who has more than enough football skill to be molded into a solid NFL contributor. FB/H-Back could be his future.
