Rodney could've had a huge game if he just knocked down a couple of those shots, i think hes gotta work on his consistancy in his form, not his arms, but his body control during the shot. He also needs confidence in his shot because he can knock those down.
 

The guys didn't play a good game in really any phase tonight. In fact, there were plenty of times where they were downright miserable. But hey, it's just an exhibition and I came away pretty impressed with Trinity Western's performance. And it's nice to see Trevor in uniform! :)

Anyhow, here's hoping the guys come out a lot sharper in their last game of the tour.
 

Mo continues to produce. His second dubdub in a row. Trinity Western seemed to have attitude.
 

That was an ugly basketball game. It is obvious this team needs some work before the season starts. The effort was there but the decision making was terrible for most of the evening. I was expecting the Gophers to rebound very well this year, but was disappointed in that aspect of their game this evening.
 





Missed

shots and free throws will kill us in the Big 10. Colton must have missed at least 7 layups and 6 free throws. And the rest of the team besides an occassional flury from Devoe and Blake, can not shoot very well at all. Teams will get hot against us - hoping we can get some shooters on board!
 



Its nice to see that this board is in Mid season form for a early September Canadian Exhibition Tour. Sheesh

Agreed. I think he was mad at himself for missing those shots. At one point, I thought that he got mad at Al for some reason also when they were on the FT line.

Man, Blake and Colt need to stop the turnovers, my 1 observation was that dumb lob pass to trevor that never connected. You know the high post to low post lob pass that prolly accounted for 8 turnovers? They need to find a different way to get trevor the ball. Also its nice to see how much Mo and Trevor will be going to the line this year, and that both of them have a nice stroke from the FT line.
 



We already beat the Spartans once this year, now let's do it 2 more times!!!

Seconded. Some of these comments are unbelievable at this stage. I am not willing to flay all of our shooters over one exhibition. Half the guys don't even know the offense yet. Give the guys a break. These are the kind of games we look at who we don't know and see how they play.

I will go on record as not worrying about Blake's shooting. I am also pleased viewers saw good things from Hollins and Walker. I wonder what another two months of practice might do for them.

Colt scored 12 points in 16 minutes, 6 or 13 and 0 of 2 on free throws. Missed 7 lay-up's? So you are saying he should have been 13 of 13? And how do you miss 6 free throws when he only shot 2?
