Gophers are fired up to put a beating on Northwestern. Gophers are much better than their record and they will fight for their lives. They beat Northwestern on the road soundly last year. The Gophers will not only beat Northwestern but they will crush them. Webber, Gray and Bennett will eat up Northwestern's sieve defense. Go Gophers!

Also, don't forget its homecoming and Gophers will have extra motivation to put on a spectacle and win over the fans.
 

I am trying to find a flaw in your reasoning, but just can't.

You should include this post with your resume. You know when Sid dies and you apply for his job.

I respect your enthusiasm and hope you are right but that kind of rhetoric is what we get every week and we are disappointed...every week.

I doubt it. I'm pretty sure Adam knows how to spell his own last name.

This putz will say this every week until the Gophs finally win a game and then he'll come back gloat and tell everyone "I told you so".

Everyday I rise and shine

Only to realize the Gophers rank 119 in sack production.
A mere 85th rank in total defense.
A mediocre 60th rank in tackles for loss.

But, I look at my beautiful girls and wife and say, "Amen! It is a beautiful day."

Last year is not similar to this year. Different seniors and different freshmen. Not even close.

well another week, another post, I'm now just looking for a Gophers can beat x team. i'm worried about the crushed. Remember HC 2 years ago where Kafka pounded us. I'll be at the game raging my maroon and gold out, but Crushed is such a harsh word.

I actually enjoy AdamWeberForPresident's posts. Or, rather, predictions.

Can appreciate the enthusiasm, and they could win, but there is no way they will CRUSH anyone in the Big Ten. Any win this year will require the other team to play below average and for the gophers to catch a break on special teams, and or win the turnover margin. But this is one of the few games where they could squeek out a win in a shootout.
 

Northwestern in going to crush the Minnesota. Coach Fitz might be the best coach in the Big Ten. There is no way we are going to win on Saturday.

I don't think it's him, but if it is, perhaps he wants Minnesota to beat Northwestern because Iowa has lost to them 4 out of the last 5 times they've played.
 

Adamweberfor president is a terrible prognosticator.

AdamWeberForPresident isn't the real Adam Weber. He's posted in game threads in the past when "Adam" has made "great runs", while ignoring the fact that he doesn't take care of the football, runs like he thinks he's a RB, and consequently fumbles the football.

It's clear to me that this poster is trolling for responses or a hopelessly optimistic relative of "Adam's". Either way, I find it quite amusing. I just wish he'd predict "Adam"'s stats.

They'd probably be something like 39/45 for 450 yards and 5 TDs, while rushing 15 times for 150 yards and 2 TDs while never putting the ball on the ground. It's funny just to think about.

Why anybody would be upset at a guy for consistantly posting over the top optimism as a schtick is beyond me.

And despite Schnoodler's word of caution, I have my GH bankroll on this one!
 


The gophers are bound to win one eventually. I don't know if it will be NW or someone else but eventually the planets will align and allow us to win one. The defense will probably play well enough to win at some point or another and hopefully the offense will not sputter in the same game. When it happens I will still not give adamweberforpresident any credit for predicting it. Saying it every game and believing it because of facts, matchups, or what have you are two different things.
