Gophers vs. Richmond Post-game thoughts

A pissing contest between a 0 and a 1. Man it has been a boring stretch with FB having an bye week.

Don has nothing to say, so he says it.

Dr.Don has more to say than you pups can understand.

I may catch some hell for calling people out for babble, but the amazing thing is, I get a lot of thank you's in my life. And not just on GopherHole.

Can you imagine how many times William Shakespeare could use the phrase "...surely you babble..." in his works? He did his best, in better words than I, with "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow..."

Hey, Big Bad Gopher...You can insult me and my posts all you want, but in all honesty, for you to scold me, which you do often on numerous threads, lay awake at night and find more things to say that you think will bother me. You will lose a lot of sleep, little one.

Can the belligerence. I believe I speak for many. Please be a good neighbor on this board.

I remember EE getting blocked which was pretty impressive. I was a bit anguished in the first half when EE wasn't getting dished the ball when Richmond was creeping back and their big guy "D-Will" was sitting on fouls with the Gophs offense looking stagnant. EE's hustle is great. Mav's drives not looking good. The other thing that got me was how many easy fast break points Richmond had on full press in the first half after their speedy PG got the gopher defender on his back shoulder and drove all the way to the bucket. I'd estimate 8-10 points that way. King is still finding ways to score which looks promising. I got a few laughs out of the A10 commentators but everything else on the video feed was great. They have a nice arena and it was rocking. Good day today for opponent's opponents today with Indiana State and Belmont getting big wins.

Yup. Key to the season - stopping that. FIU got hammered giving up those plays last year. Gophers must improve.

Indiana State's Jake Odum is really good.. some other guys that are older now; in person at the Old Spice Classic they were young, but I thought their roster shaped up for good things in the future.. including last season, but it didn't pan out well for them. Maybe this year. Nice win over the Domers.
