With the first overall pick, center Taylor Heise was drafted today by the Minnesota PWHL team (name yet to be announced) in the first draft of the PWHL. Heise led the NCAA in scoring this season, was WCHA Forward of the Year, and won the Patty Katzmeyer Award (best player) last season (and a finalist this season).
