SO what you think will be our record the last 3 games. Will we wins out, go 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, 0-3.

I love to see us wins out. It going to be tough. I do think we can wins in Nebraska and beat Northwestern at home. Wisconsin is gonna be tough on the road.

1-2 for the end of the season.

1-2. Beat Nebraska and lay an egg at home against NW.

Much as I hate to say it I don't see us beating Wisconsin in Camp Randall this year. I think the other two are winnable but will take great efforts from the team to win either. My gut says we come out of that stretch 1-2 at best with 0-3 being a real possibility unless we play better.

Will be interesting after getting man handled by all three teams a year ago.

I will be shocked if we don't finish 3-0.

One at time, we have shown we can beat Nebraska in Lincoln. They are coming off a loss against Wisconsin and whipping by TOSU. They are beatable. We are 5-1 at home, why not 6-1 Northwestern is not anything special. We should be favored. Wisconsin can be beat, but it will take a flawless effort, our best effort. We will either be 2-1 or 3-0.

That last game is the only one I want. Claeys needs to win his first trophy, and it might as well be the Axe

You're talking about the same team that was an eyelash away from losing to Rutgers and in a complete dogfight with Purdue, right?

Nebraska played a close game against Purdue as well. Northwestern lost to Illinois St. I think we'll go 1-2 but wouldn't be surprised with 2-1. I don't think we can beat Wisconsin.

0-3

Nebraska and Wisconsin could be blowouts.

Northwestern is a toss up and the Gophers have been hit or miss with them. Yet, with them getting shut out last year, it makes me worried they might already have a good game plan for them.

I'll take your word for it. You said the Gopher offense was doomed after Brooks was announced out, so you obviously know football.

Looks like Nebraska was in a complete dogfight with Purdue, was closer to Illinois than us...

Northwestern lost to a 1AA...

Wisconsin squeaked by Georgia somebody, and almost everyone else they beat is turning out to not be all that good...

It's college football. There are going to be mistakes. Who knows what will happen, but based on the last few years with this staff, the team will be in each game with a chance to win.

Hoping for 3-0, wouldn't be shocked with 1-2 or 2-1.

0-3. I can't see any more wins this year unless we get Eastern Michigan in the Motor City Bowl.

Tracy said he would try to win those last three games so I'll be unreasonably upset if they don't...

After Nebraska's complete decimation by tOSU last night and the loss of Armstrong against us...Nebraska will be much more interesting. Northwestern has injury issues and is getting beat up with a lack of depth (like us a few years ago) and Wisconsin is going to be a test of wills...one we have lost for over a decade.

I think we go 1-2 but am hoping for 2-1. Another Wisconsin loss seems likely.

I can't say I was confident in any of the games we won in the last 4 games between bad ref calls and bad play calling by the coaching staff...I'm surprised we didn't loose. The last 3 games, no doubt, will also be a lot of ups and downs, but I believe we can beat NEB and NW so I'm going to say 2-1 to close the season. HUGE game next week, one at a time, one at a time.....

Who did we beat that is good?

Wisconsin beat LSU. They looked pretty good in defeat last night.

Ranking most likely to least likely

1. 1-2, Beat Northwestern
2. 0-3
3. 2-1, beat Northwestern and Nebraska
4. 3-0

1-2 would make me happy enough.

Same here and I'd be ecstatic with 2-1. Wisconsin is just a bridge too far unless we go 3-0 in turnovers, the defense plays their very best, and the team manages to hold the penalties to 25 yards or less.

Ranking most likely to least likely

1. 1-2, Beat Northwestern: 50%
2. 0-3: 35%
3. 2-1, beat Northwestern and Nebraska: 10%
4. 3-0: 5%

Exactly my thoughts. I put the percentage of likelihood next to each...jmho, of course. No advanced metrics to support :)

You're pretty close. These were the projections prior tho the Purdue game and I can't imagine they will change too much up or down

0-12 1-11 2-10 3-9 4-8 5-7 6-6 7-5 8-4 9-3 10-2 11-1 12-0
0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 0% 1% 22% 46% 27% 4% 0% 0%

Same team that had a lead at Penn State with under a minute to go.

Nebraska will want to win one for Tommy and won't endure three straight losses. Madison is probably hopeless. That leaves NW, which has a good passing game from Thorston and Carr, but doesn't run as much as it should and doesn't have a great defense - yet last year they pasted the Gophers. So, 1-2 for an 8-4 season that could go 9-4 with a bowl win. You have to temper that by realizing that last year's crossover teams would kill us this year, while we beat both Maryland and Rutgers.
