Gophers open as 4 point underdogs at home against Wisconsin

If I were a sports better, I'd take the Gophs even at even money. We are a better team. We have a better record, a better "best win", they have a worse "worst loss", the game is in our house, and they have looked pretty shaky on the road.

Hmm, 8 tackles with a sack at Northwestern.

Admittedly looks good from the stat box (i honestly only watched live and haven't gone over replay) but he looked noticeably slow to react on a lot of plays, especially in the first half. In any event, he absolutely has to make an impact if the Gophers are gonna limit JT and pull this one off. I don't think anyone expects WI to come out slinging the ball, and our front four will have a hell of a time trying to get any push on their line, so the LB play will largely determine any success in this one.

He looked fine to me at the game. NW literally had no offense until that last drive. No question Gophs will need to slow down the Badger's run game. I assume they will stack the box and try tp force Badgers to pass.

I guess another way to look at this is that for Badger fans, it must make the Badgers throwing up all over themselves against Illinois just that much more painful. I mean seriously, what if, huh?

Wouldn't miss the entertainment. The Illinois game sucked. This one more than makes up for it.
