The Minnesota Golden Gophers head coach admitted that his wife didn't approve of it – mainly because it was starting to show some patches of gray – but it served a purpose to the tone of training camp.
"We're in training camp, it's like the hockey playoffs," Fleck explained. "You just let it go. But I don't know. We'll see and when you see me shave it, it was time when Mama said no more."
