From the U of MN:

The University of Minnesota will follow the Big Ten's announcement that it is limiting fans for upcoming home events. This also includes Big Ten and NCAA postseason competition hosted by the University.

Starting on Thursday, March 12, 2020, attendance will be limited to student-athletes, coaches, event staff, essential team and University staff, TV network partners, credentialed media, and immediate family members of the participating teams.

Minnesota will work with the Big Ten to review this policy moving forward.

The main priority of the University is to ensure the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, administrators, fans and media as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 virus

I believe this means no "open" practices for the Football team. I assume no fans in the stands for the Spring Game.

Heard one doctor state that - potentially - the US could see 70-million to 100-million people infected with the virus. if it gets to that level, all bets are off. Italy ordered all stores closed except for pharmacies and grocery stores. Not saying it will get that bad in the US, but we are less than 6 months away from football season. There is a real possibility of seeing college football games played in empty stadiums.

All team activities now cancelled until at least April 6, or something like that...
