Things looked bleak for a while around here.

But, there is room for optimism. Random thoughts:

My keys to a successful Gopher season:

1. Injuries. This potentially can be the achillles heel. They have to find a way to mitigate injuries and stay relatively healthy.

2. Resurgence of a good running game (predicated on a healthy O-line). I am looking forward to this Gophers version of Maroney-Barber tandem ala Smith & Brooks - The Georgia Express.

3. The rise & development of a passing game. I am excited for the likes of Still, Gentry, Holland in addition to our experienced guys. It was refeshing to see Mitch distribute the ball to multiple WRs & TEs.

If you believe Sonnygarcia, we might as well toss in the towel and fire Kill. However, IMHO it may not be as bleak as people are predicting.

I've learned not to believe anything from Sonnygarcia.

With the injuries I'll be happy if we make a bowl game.

If we do more... I'm more likely to believe the B1G West is worse than I thought ;)
