Gophers have 63.2% of lettermen returning, 111th in nation

Not really sure this proves much of anything but it is interesting to see that this will be a very experienced CSU team that we face in week 2. They definitely have some key loses from last year's team but they clearly didn't lose many players. But again I don't know that this really means much of anything as I am sure Steele can cherrypick to find the examples that work to prove his point while ignoring all the ones that don't.

Minnesota has 48 lettermen returning compared to 55 for CSU. That would give the Rams only a slight advantage in experience. Very few schools produced letter winner totals like UMN did last year (76) so that skews the percentage.

EDIT: It worries me more that TCU returns 61 lettermen. That's a big advantage on an already elite team.
