As a professional designer for my whole career this is spot on. In any creative discussion there's always someone who can't resist engaging in a certain type of masculine virtue-signaling about how little they care about aesthetics. It's like the hipster who can't wait to tell you they don't own a TV.

It's still there. 2017 was the only year it looked like a tampon lol. Since 2018 it's been the handle for the stripe

Edit. I think it was 2018 and 2019 respectively.

From an on-field perspective these look great! From a video game perspective I am disapointed. One of the things I was excited about for the new game was to play with the now old uniforms and all the fun combos it had.

Hipsters don't have TV's because they don;t watch live anything and do it all on a tablet. It's no virtue of sacrifice or counter culturalism to ditch a TV when you get it all somewhere else. It's like giving up Hersheys to eat Nestles.
 


The gold helmets are back! Those are my favorite!

My reference was about 10 years earlier but it's probably evolved to that now. I think streaming cable through a TV without a box is the best way to go.
 





I do love these overall, but like one poster above, I don’t like the stripe on the sleeves. It does instantly remind me of Iowa, not to mention it’s just unnecessary.
