Per Greder:

The senior limped off the field and went into the injury tent midway through the first half. He then put on a brace and attempted to test out his knee, but didn’t play again. He changed out his pads at halftime and was seen limping along the sideline in the second half. “Hopefully (with) Walley, it’s nothing, but we will find out here soon,” coach P.J. Fleck said.

Go Gophers!!

Oh dang, I was watching on my phone with the sound off while at another game and didn’t even notice his absence. Obviously the D kept it going without him, but he’s such a difference maker. Here’s hoping this wasn’t serious. Fingers crossed.

I'm sure we won't find out til saturday
By hoping it's not serious I think we are talking about only a game or two out. It would be surprising if we see him Saturday.

I went back and looked at the play where he was injured. Running play and Walley was nowhere near the action.

He just took a couple steps back, zero contact, and started hopping on one leg.

Spooky and concerning.

IIRC he was limping around during UNC. Not sure if it’s the same leg/injury but things don’t get better without rest.
